About Musical Discovery
I started Musical Discovery about three years ago. My goals were simple:
About the Founder
Known as Mr. Hector my countless children, Hector Armienta is a recognized composer and music educator.
He has taught over 26,000 children, provided professional development for school districts and performing
arts organizations, and overseen k - 5 music programs. Currently, he is the program director for a music
research based arts provider in Northern California.
I started Musical Discovery about three years ago. My goals were simple:
- Help parents find creative ways to bring music to their children
- Be a free resource to both music educators and non music educators that are looking for age
appropriate music activities
